I think everyone is raving on about the half life 2 sequel, Episode 1.
To me Valve has already ripped people off who bought the game to kill their steam accounts cause someone in their household tried to steal the game when it wasnt their fault. Now they have Episode 1 which is a short addon, with episode 2 coming soon. To me its all rip-off city, but it is an amazing experience and an amazing game. There is battlefield 2 which is more the online style game. I cant think of any other FPS games recently that has stood out since im not a big FPS fan.
