New to coping psx games and having problems tring to getting the copied game to work!

I have CDRWIN 3.8a and it was cracked. Anyways I also have the ppf-o-matic to apply the ppf patches. I have had no problems applying the file and no errors have came up. When I copy the files to the hard drive two files are there bin and cue. I have looked on the net to make sure I have the right settings for cdrwin, but after I write the disk there are no file on the cd it just comes up blank and I have look at it on the pc and in a dvd/cd player nothing comes up. So can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? And yes I have a mod chip 7 pin I'm tring to copy tony hawks pro skater 2. one other thing do you use more than one patch on a game and how do you know which is the right patch for the game so your not waisting shit load of cds. I'm using a hp 8200 cd writer. I'm running windows 98 not the second addition eather. Can anyone tell me which is the best program to use to copy games or at least a good one and not to much of a pain in the ass to work with. The cdrwin I was using was v3.8a I also have the v3.8c both are cracked have not tried the v3.8c one yet to see if that works I'm also getting clone cd v2.8.3.1 and the crack and the other is psx copy 6.2 with the crack. Still haveing no luck trying to copy tony hawks pro skater 2 any suggestions? Still no luck coping tony hawks pro skater 2 any suggestions?
