I did however help a friend to backup his version of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and I got that to work on his machine, from the backup image I created on his machine, without disconnecting any drives. And his machine isnt an nforce 4 chipset and we didnt use any USB drives or any other of those types of tricks. I can not remember exactly how I did it but it worked ok.
