tycoon city new york cd crack don't work!

I HAVE THE GAME INSTALLED FROM THE CD IT IS NOT WAREZ! downloaded the so called cd crack from gcw, replaced exe started game ok it starts. went to load a saved game BOOM game crashes! this damn thing dont work! i have all latest nvida drivers installed everything is up to date it's the hacked exe that's the problem cos when i put the old exe back in and started game with cd and loaded it loaded fine. obviously there's a hidden thing causing game to crash when it detects hacked exe that's what i reckon anyway.
