All games are choppy

hey I tried using inducer but had no luck. I then stumbled upon dreamcast factory, it is a really easy program to use and had no problem getting bothg snes and nes to work. I burnt on 2 seperate dics and played alot of the nes games and they all worked perfect. I then went to snes games and played a few and they worked great as well. I then went to play one day and all the games were lagging. Whenever there was alot of action going on it would go choppy. Now the thing about dreamcast factory is that you can only use dreamsnes 0.9.7 instead of the newest. Is it the roms I have or is it a common problem with that version of dreamsnes???
