Ok, its like talking 'Double Dutch' to some people!
1. When copying a Safedisc protected disc you will get 'read errors'. This is normal!! Do not be worried about the read errors!
2. The read errors may even go up to 6% of the reading! This is quite possible!
3. The fact that it is taking a few hours, well this is NOT normal and does not sound right!?

What to do:
1. Establish if your burner is a one sheep or two sheep burner? (If you have no idea what I am talking about then just go here to find out more and to do the 'sheep test' on your burner!)

2. Here are two links you should have a read of!
1. Philips DVD8701
2. Philips 8701

Those two links will give you some info on others who are also having trouble with the same burner as yours. They will also give you suggestions on how to fix it.

Good Luck
