I don't quite understand...

You have an original CD which got damaged and therefore you cannot install the agem from it? Contact the publisher for a replacement. Where does the image come from; from the original CD when it wasn't damaged? Then I see no reason why you dhouldn't be able to install the game from it.

Nevertheless, if you don't have the original CD (for any reason), you're not eligible for help on this forum, because of the "no warez" rule. So, please, do get that replacement CD first.
