Problems with FEAR

Ok, I am having some problems with my game, FEAR.

When I played the game, sometimes it would not start and give me a message like "Game CD could not be authenticaded or found.". If I tried once or twice more, the game would start. Now, it will not start up at all and keep giving me that error over and over.

Out of frustration I went to GCW and DLed an image of FEAR and mounted it and followed what the site said to get it working. I used AntiBlah and mounted the MDF but then a message came up saying "Security modual could not be found. Application will not start." I tried a few more times and still, the same message. I uninstalled and reinstalled FEAR with my disk but when I ran it, the message came up again!

I dont know what to do at this point. I did an EXE replacement that allows me to play the game in single player but every time I try to play a multiplyer game, it gives me a message saying "Invalid Resources" or something of the sort. Any help??
