As far as I've been able to tell (Been following this at the DT forums as well as here), it only affects certain versions of the chipset drivers, and I suspect you also need the IDE drivers as well.
Its probably a bug in specific versions of these drivers- I would imagine you simply downloaded the latest version off the website, as opposed to an older version before format?
