Matrix - PON - Spinning Mouse Error

I recently borrowed this game from a friend to try out, but he didn't wanna give up the disk so I'm resorting to trying to use deamon and SR7.

I played till you get the to the part when you start fire arms training and the mouse is glitched now. It will just keep spinning and spinning in circles. Not just on that level, it now does that on the levels I already completed even.

I tried upgrading to v1.1 and deleting the control settings file and even adjusting the mouse sensitivity. Nothing. Still just spins and spins.

Anybody else have this problem?
