I play my Splinter Cell CT without disk and i wrote about it few days ago.

Its still pain as i had make image with alcohol so ive got big image on HDD all time, i didnt need any fancy settings just used wizzard, (game was installed before hand, but ive test it can install from image i made, infact i managed to make a dvdr of it, where as most i can only backup onto dvdrw, i think i used clonecd when game was new, i didnt have alcohol then), anyhow back on track, i use new daemon tools V4 with all emualtions ON (not sure if needed though), and "sd4hide", then i simply dissable my Nvidia eide controler in my device manager, i dont need turn off in bios or unplug them or hide with any crappy sf****er/nightmare that hangs pc most times., i did however get asked to reenter my KEY and it said it was wrong for some strange reason, till i got a new .mds i downloaded, then it accepted my legit KEY and plays, (must be something to do with image as it accepts KEY with real disk in rom tray.
