Age Of Empires not using cd question?

k i don't like having to find my cds i got a spanish version of this game and got the patch and it comes up with a warnign after i press it so i got a spanish to german patch then run the german patch on ur website now it comes up with a greman warning why can't i get to play the game without cd, my stupido cd rom drive isn't working atm so i can't play at all now!!
