Please help!

I don't want to run the game with my CD, so I have tried a number of times to mount it (works fine), use either AntiBlaxx or VirtualCDHide, as someone
tiped me to do at this forum.

1. Download hide virtual cd (VirtualCDHide) from here or another site
2. Mount game dvd with deamon tools or alcohol
3. Install game
4. Start VirtualCDHide (it wil come in your system tray)
5. Right click VirtualCDHide and click hide cd drives
6. Now go to your folder with Civ4, right click on Civ4 exe file and turn compatility on win 2000.

Everything seems to work out fine (loading and stuff) but when I get to the intro (the globe and some disturbing music) nothing happens. Two or three times I have reapetedly pressed enter and got to the game (I see my settlers) but I can't move them or even get out of there.

What can I do to solve this??
