Update your sound card drivers. (Good luck with finding them, though, as the structure of the driver download pagaes at Creative is one of the most idiotic ones I've seen so far... With my SB Audigy 1, it took me quite a while to understand what packages and updates to run, in what order, to get to the latest version...
