Serious Sam 2 Problems

I've got problems in the menu of SS2.
Only the menu item "Multiplayer" ist choosable.
All other items are still there, but if they are choosen a sound appears and nothing happens.

Did anybody know what I have to do?

I tried the newest update with the *.exe file from the demo, too.
