Ive got a USB Drive but Trackmania still doesnt work

the topic shows my problem
ive bought me an usb adapter (ide2usb)... made an copy of my trackmania
and i put it the cdrom ... but still it says that the protection couldnt be identified... one time it has worked... im confused ... thx for your help...
