Slimline PSTwo Slim Fix V4 (Cromwell)

Well, I recently visited MCM, and found that they have a somewhat solution to the laser problem with the slimline models. They are calling it Slim Fix and from everything that I read, it seem to be promising. Just one question though: Would doing this be any better than the diode fix that they preformed about a year ago ? And if so, would any of you recommend getting it ?

TIA
