Newbie help??

I know you must have heard this a thousand times but i am new to dc game backing up....have done psx games in the past with no problems.
I can use cdrwin,nero 5.5,or cdclone...but can someone tell me the settings to use ?
I have a dreamcast and a boot disc,but am unsure how to start with the backing up.
Any help much apprieciated
