roms on PS2

Not sure if it's okay to ask this, but how can I play PS1 ROMs on my modded PS2? Can I just burn the ROMs directly onto a DVD and play? If so, just burn as ISO? What about putting the ROMs on the HD using HDAdvance? Thanks in advance...
