I dont get it..Endless shift?

Okay I feel like a poster child for IDIOT! I had no idea I was supposed to CLICK on upgrade. Thanks for informing me anout that by the way. But shouldnt whatever you earn follow over into flo's career (the regular game)? It isnt. I was just wondering. Also when I pick the stereo I never see it. Is it invisible ?lol
