How do you convert a 60 Hz DC Game to 50 Hz ? I know there are 2 Programs out to keep switching the DC back to 50 Hz when playing 60 Hz imports on a PAL Dreamcast, those are the PAL_PATCHER and DC_PAL2NTSC. These programs patch certain areas of an ISO to stop the backswitching to 50 Hz. Would be interesting to know WHICH area (maybe we can search for a Hex Value) is responsible for switching the DC into 50 or 60 Hz Mode. In the PSX C Code was the GPU_SETPAL(X) function responsible for this, you just had to insert 0 or 1 into the X. I wonder if the Dreamcast wouldn't have a similar command, which we maybe find out when just compiling a simple DC program telling the DC to switch into 50 Hz, and looking at the compiled code with a hex editor.
