Well there couldbe a number of reasons including:
1/
The games concerned are EA games that need special patches ( ####://www.eapatcher.com ) to work with a USB modchip.

2/
The games are protected or written in such a way that sub-channel data has to be read and written and either you haven't checked the appropriate boxes in your burning software or your reader/burner combination doesn't properly handle sub0channel data.

The best copy program to use is CloneCD with sub-channel data. Your burner has to be RAW-DAO+96 compatible. But EA protrected games have to be patched in which case CDRWin is the best utility.
