DBZ Budokai 3 Backup gives RSOD

Hey everyone, earlier today I bought Budokai 3 and in making the backup on the PC using Alcohol 120, after the burn I tried to load the backup in my brother's PS2 which was modded with the MI chip, but right after the browser screen the famous RSOD came up....when i pressed reset on the console with the backup still inside (its a V7) the backup booted up fine.

Whats weird is that I take my FF X backup and load it in the same console and it booted the first time. Odd eh?

I take the DBZ backup and inserted it in my other PS2 (which is a V4 with the DMS4 Pro installed) and it booted up the first time without the RSOD.

Pretty strange...but either way I got it to boot up so thats all that counts
