audio protections

Hi,

I have seen that some audio cd's are protected against backup.

I'm lookin for a tool that can tell me what protection is used.

And what program I can use to make a copy.

I know that this music is also downloadable from the net, but I just like to play with these things, and see if I can make a copy.
