If the resistance value on the 'J' line is too low the PIC will shut down right from the get go as well. But you don’t want it to be too high or the PIC fix won’t do its job. The value needs to be just high enough to turn on the v12 with out error.
I would suggest you contact the installer of your v12 and let him know your problem.
