That is weird to get a "buffer underun" burning at 1x.... The only thing I would suggest would do some routine maintanence. I would do the following:
1. Run Scandisk 2. Clean out your "temp" directory 3. Do a thourough defrag If you have more than one physical HDD, I would test the speed on both. Whichever has the fasted read/write speed, I would configure DJ3 to use a temp directory on that drive. I burn at 8x with no problems. Most people recommend burning at 4x or even 2x. Good luck.
