Seagate vs. Maxtor

Hi,

Should I go with Seatgate or Maxtor HDD for my PS2?
Somebody recommended Seagate over Maxtor because it's quieter and more reliable. The only concern I have for Seagate is that I heard it doesn't work with some of the newer network. I was thinking of getting ST3200822A, would it work? I checked out the compatibility list, and most people said it worked although one person said it didn't.

Anybody had experience with this HDD?
Maxtor is guaranteed to work, but I think there is a batch out there that's bad. Most people are happy with Maxtor ,but some gave it really bad reviews.
Any recommendations between the two?

Thanks
