MS only uses 2 detections. 1, modified bios and eeprom. 2, modified HDD key imbedded in the eeprom.

#1 can be bypassed by just turnin of the chip and using the original disk to go online. #2 can be bypassed by either logging on live after you upgrade the HDD, never before, or by editing the eeprom.

MS does not detect files, especially if you have them on the "F" drive, which MS can not see.
