Anydvd makes your dvd's region free. But there is also the PAL/NTSC encoding issue. Some older dvd players will not play one or the other type of encoding. More and more newer models will though. There is no real easy fix to reencode your movie from ntsc to pal or vice versa so your best bet for right now is to just get Anydvd and at least region free you dvd's and see if your gonna have problems with the encoding they were made with.
