Evil Genius not loading??

Help, Evil Genius does not do anything when I insert disc. Theres a quick flash of what appears to be the install screen??? When I try to boot from the .exe same thing. Anybody hear of this? Possibly display issue?? Checked r.m. and it seems I got the goods?? Heres hoping, Graiskye. p.s.: heres some specs in case they'll help, AMD 2200+ xp, K7vm2, 512mb, MSI 4000t-128 agp, 80g maxtor, LG gcc4480b cd/cdrw/dvd
