well, it can be the power supply, heating, or some other problem. I have an xbox that shuts down after 40 minutes of play ot so, every time. Then I must unplug it for a minute (long enough for the time to reset) before it will power back on. I just got a new power supply and bumped the fan speed up. The temp is fine but the problem is still there.
It could just be something fried on the mobo. Like it is getting too much power at times and forces the xbox to power down. Anyways, you need a chip or a softmod to see the temperature.
