Ok, I've read a ton of postings about all sorts of issues with Bloodlines. I finally got it working. Here's how:
1) All drivers up to date 2) DirectX 9.0c obviously installed. - Run DirectX Diag to make sure all files are installed properly. 3) Refresh rate didn't matter for me. Game ran with it at 60,70,75,85,90,100. 4) ALL EMULATION SOFTWARE MUST GO. Clone CD and Alcohol aren't the only culprets. I had a DVD emulation software so I could make PERSONAL backups of dvd's that are protected against backups. THAT WAS THE PROGRAM KILLING VAMPIRE. -CloneCD -Alcohol -DVD X Ghost -Copy2CD/DVD -And most other programs that install a virtual rom driver/emulator seem to cause issues. The basics still apply. Do a system cleanup THEN defrag your drive. THEN INSTALL VAMPIRE. Reboot after install. I found this to work for me. I have a custom system which seems to be a little harder to figure out issues like this and it DID work. It may help you. I hope it does. BTX4
