Exclamation Problem with my PS2 DVD cases...need some advice

Hi,

First off sorry if its the worng section but since it is to do with my PS2 cases i thought it should be in here.

Here's the problem...i had about 10+ games in a pile, and a candle fell onto the pile of the games, with the candle wax going all over them.

I have tried scratching it off, but its too hard as it either engraves the plasctic from scratching to hard, or leaves grease streaks from where the wax had been, any idea on how to get rid of it?

Also if you know how to get it out of carpet that would be handy to...

I tried this on my jeans, where i had used an iron and a brow paper bag and it lifted the wak off, but i can do it on the carpet as it will burn and i definatly can't do it on the covers just as i can't use naked flame.
