How can I play NTSC version of Confidential Mission with a PAL gun?

I have a NTSC version of Confidential Mission but have a PAL DC and gun.
The game detects it and says "Unable to use foreign gun controller",
How can I play NTSC version of Confidential Mission with a PAL gun?
