Europa 1400 Gold patch?

Europa 1400 Gold is protected with Securom 5.00.03. Using Alcohol to make a backup leads to a 750 meg image - too big to burn to CD. Worse, the game doesn't like it.

How can I put this gently....HELP!!!!!
