Mafia Fixed .exe prob PLZ help

hi. i just downloaded the 1.2 patch for the game mafia and applied the fixed exe and when i start it an error comes out saying

error: #3075
File "a2.dta" not found...

and i look in the directory and that file is right there

. Can anyone help me with this so i can FINALLY PLAY, i havent been able to played yet so im dying to play
