And still some more info
I am really doing some homework tonight. Lolz. Here's another site on my research. Apparently, Blindwrite 5 can do the rip.
http://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=220732 I am ripping the dvd right now as I type, but one thing to note, I think the disc has bad sectors just before the end of the first 01_1.vob file and continues through the rest of the disc, as ripping it has so far been a VERY slow process, about 2-6k a second, but it seems to be able to bypass the bad sectors and keep going. The software has reported no read errors. I'll post the results of this experiment when it finishes.
