Some Games Wont work W/Utopia ???

I was trying to use a few game nba2k sanfransico rush, with utopia, and they just don't do anything. I put it in, and they don't load. I have used utopia for other games, so i know it works. Also I put the cd into the computer, and all the game files are there. Do I have to make these games self-booting? If anyone could help, I would be very thankful.
