Just bought a busted Xbox for 50 bucks! :D
Came with a couple controllers, the usual stuff no games.
Anyway, after a little examination it turns out it's got a phillips drive and the laser isn't "lasering", i.e. no laser out of diode, I did the eyeball test. Where is this thing powered on the Phillips pcb? I want to make sure it's the laser and not the board before I buy a replacement laser. Thanks! Frito
