we do need the other questions answered before we can further assist you with the back ups.

I also noticed you mentioned in your first post about your grandson scratching up the games. That will cause big problems if they are scratched and you try to burn them. I would recommend using an electric car buffer if you have access to one and put a dab of either car polish or toothpaste on the buffer pad and buff out the scratches, if that is an issue. You can not backup scratched games because the burnt copies will read the scratches as false data and cause it not to work. Ritek dvd-r G04's are the best media which you said you are using. DMS3 chips are very good as well.
