The 'crack' is not working for me either.
I am using windows xp. I removed the drives from the bios, but windows kept finding them, so I disabled them from 'device' manager. However when I mounted the file into the daemon tools drive, and tried to run the game, i got the same error message = wrong disk or something. I removed the copy protection using safeclean, rebooted, tried to run the prob, it prompted me for a reboot in order to complete the installation, and then I got the same error I was always getting... bummer
