why do people keep asking for the patched .msi?

dont be so lazy, expecting one guy to email you all with a file, just do it yourself, its so simple! i already explained how to do this on the first page of this thread. i feel ignored

theres a program called MaSaI Editor. search for it and download it. a trial version is free and will do the job. requires the .NET framework so you might need to get that from microsofts website too, a larger download than the actual program.

open the Doom 3.msi file in the editor, scroll down to 'Media' and click on it. there will be a list of entries including the titles of the CDs - DOOM3_CD1, DOOM3_CD2, DOOM3_CD3, DOOM3_CD1.

just change each of them to whatever you want to call the DVD. DOOM3, DOOM3_DVD, ALLGRAPHICSNOGAMEPLAY, whatever and save the .msi
