thnks for the reply Tylerdurdan and seaneyb2003, i have been reading here
http://www.cyber-mag.com/station/laserV9.htm about a ROMEO MOD install and probs with v9 lasers, i have already tried a new 400c laser in my PS2 and it works fine in my ps2, so i assume tha the LA CHIP is also fine...... i notice from teh above link that the author suggests that bad/dirty media can caus a v9/10 laser fail! And this is exactly what i did 2 days previous to my laser fail! Can i just ask quick question to you busy guys about a romeo mod, is ROMEO performed because the laser/la chip uses 5v but sometimes recieves 5-12v, thus blowing laser or chip?? cramp
