Silent hill 3 help

What? dont get ya. Has any1 else had this pitch black hospital problem on Silent Hill 3? So **** when u get into game then u cant get past a point cos of breakidge. If any1 can help with this problem it would be most apreciated. I d/l the missing files btw and put them in with the others before using deamon tools. Think mine was missing the graphics for the hospital Might try getting to same point from beginning to see if hospital is still in total darkness, was quite far too
