Final Fantasy XI

ffxi has been out for a while now and it's floating around the internet and I happen to have a copy myself. And from what I have noticed i'ts quite hard to be able to play it without buying it from a store. But I am just wondering is it anyone who has succed with playing a backuped version of the game? Or is it impossible, which I find hard to believe though... But say it is, is there any way to get a hold the three months of free play? Something got to be done...

Thanks in advance
