Can I make a 80+ min game into a selfbooting backup?

I ripped some 80+ min games and tried ECHELON's way of selfbooting . But all of my CDs have gone to be coasters!! Can I make 80+ min games into selfbooting backups?
The burner is mitsumi CR4804TE.
