This may seam petty to some people, but the neo12 uses free code developed by the magicICE team that is intended to be free and the maker of this chip has stolen it and used it in there production chips with out even a complement that I know of to the magicICE team. However this is nothing new and has been going on for years now with not only code from the magicICE team but just about all other chips you can mention. Also they could have chosen another name as they are far from the original neo team.

My main concern with the neo12 is its flexible PCB and the funky way you solder it to the tinny via's that are already difficult to solder to with wire, seams to me like it would be even more difficult to solder and get an iron in the PCB and get a good bond with the via’s but hey what do I know *cough*. It seams flimsy and not reliable, not to mention it looks like crap, but hey who really cares what it looks like other then an installer as no one is going to see it when its all said and done anyway.

I would say stay with the tried and true ORIGINALS like the Magic V, Duo, Apple Pro if your looking in the low end range of chips, or the Infinity and DMS3 if your interested in the higher end.
