DvdXCopy Prob... ?

Well i've been having some problems i backed up some dvds using dvdxcopy platinum, and its been a few years and i thought it would be best if i backed them up again, and since i had given away the origional dvds i had to back up from the copies, but unfortunately for some reason dvdxcopy is having problems re copying them, and i've tried DVDclone2 and i have the same problem, i was wondering if any of you more intelectual people out there might now what the actual problem is or a way to rectify it ?
