you can also use svcd2dvdmpg and tmpgenc dvd author

here a nice guide for when movies are in svcd/vcd format to put onto dvd-r.


you can also get svcd2dvd full and it has it's own authoring program. it goes for roughly $10 GBP/ pounds or something like that
