Problem with Sacred

Hello, I've installed Sacred many times now, trying all the cracks and can't get anything to work. The only one I can get to work at all is 1.5, but as soon as I start a new game (no matter which character), it starts up and then fades to black, locking up my computer. When I use the original cd, everything works just fine. Am I doing anything wrong? Is there anything I need to do to get it to work. I know that at the point that it fades, it's suppoesed to play the first movie in the game. Do I have to copy over any files from the cd? Just let me know what I need to do to get this working.
